On July 21 and 22, 2016, at the GEM Club in Skopje, the second meeting of the partners from the project ACTION SEE – Accountability, Technology and Institutional Openness Network in SEE was held. This meeting was attended by representatives from the Foundation Metamorphosis, which is also the project coordinator, as well as Westminster Foundation for Democracy from Great Britain, Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTA) from Serbia, Citizens Association Why not? from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Center for Democratic Transition (CDT) from Montenegro, Open Data Kosovo (ODK) from Kosovo and Lëvizja Mjaft! from Albania.
During this meeting, the participants discussed the regional index of openness of the institutions, the upcoming research on institutions as well as the future steps and activities in the project.
The project aims to increase the inclusion of civil society and media organisations in decision making processes and the creation of public opinion and policies, as well as to raise the capacity of civil societies to address sensitive issues.
