NGO KOHA organized a training with young people from the Municipality of Klina on the role and importance of youth participation in drafting public policies and their involvement in the decision-making process. In this training, young people were given the opportunity to interactively discuss and identify the forms of activation of young people in the community and how to keep accountable their elected municipal representatives. Also it is considered very important that the transparency and institutional accountability through to be enforced through the law be in order to be converted into a norm that guarantees a open government and accessible to all.
This training was organized within the framework of the project “Active and Informed Citizens through the Law on Access to Public Documents”, which is being implemented within the project “Accountability, Technology and Institutional Openness Network in the South East Europe region” funded by the European Union.
