In the bilateral meeting held between the public officials of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania, the Municipality, the Government, the Judiciary and the Parliament are being further discussed through the “Road Map for Good Governance for Kosovo and Albania State Institutions” in partnership with the MJAFT Movement from Albania.
In this published road-map from ActonSEE, different components are analyzed which present the openness index for all regional state institutions. Representatives of Kosovo and Albania institutions discussed on the recommendations presented by this report for future improvements.
Among other things, the road-map finds that:
-Kosovo is ranked third in executive power openness with an overall result of 31% of the set indicators;
-Kosovo Parliament has scored 49% out of the indicators;
-Kosovo Courts are ranked third in the region with a result of 43% of the set indicators;
-Kosovo Prosecutorial Council is left behind out of all similar institutions in the region, ranking the last in the region for transparency, marking only 30% of the set indicators;
-Additionally, in the regional comparison of local self-governments, Kosovo ranks last in the region, marking only 23% of the indicators.
